The line between Reflect and Ulysses
Ulysses is for any note or article that I intend to make public. It doesn’t mean that everything in there will necessarily be made public, but that’s the intention for each piece.
Reflect is my private log. I log projects I’m working on, ideas, thoughts and anything else. Some of these turn into notes and if I decide the note could be made public, I’ll move it to Ulysses.
Having all these notes in Ulysses also means I can take advantage of Ulysses’s fantastic text search, and ability to join notes together on the fly. This is a way more accessible way to search through my notes that I ever found in Obsidian, or indeed Reflect.
